Tuition today. Had lunch with Aunt Lillian, Grace, and my mother before that. Weihui's quitting tuition, Christel is too. I don't feel very sad 'cause it was only me at first anyway.
My parents actually wanted to fetch Aunt Grace, Weihui, and Christel home but then me and Weihui decided to go to Christel's house to bake cookies and muffins. They dropped us at Christel's place and then we went to White Sands to buy our stuff. We walked there, each holding one umbrella, and we performed stunts on the way, lol.
We got a trolley and went searching for our stuff. Okay, Christel's house lacked of almost all the equipment we need for baking so we bought a weighing scale, a whisk, cookie moulds, and a sieve. Plus flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla essence, chocolate chips, rainbow things. I think that's all. I forgot to get money from my mother so I only had 10 bucks with me. Weihui and Christel each had 10 bucks too. We were looking at the machine or whatever which indicated the total cost of the items, it jumped so rapidly I was so afraid we didn't have enough money. $33.45 altogether, I emptied my wallet but was short of a few cents. Fortunately Christel had some spare coins. We were so broke! And all the time in the supermarket we were talking to each other like, 'Aye Captain, we've got the baking powder!', 'Comrade, concentrate!' etc, haha!
We shopped till 5.30PM and we wanted to take the Elias Chartered bus back. The next bus was 5.32PM! We ran like retards to catch the bus and Christel just dashed across the road when the Red Man's flashing! I chased after Weihui and her like some dumb ass and was shouting, 'Don't run, aye, don't leh!'. How contradicting. We caught the bus at exactly 5.32PM.
Reached Christel's place and we started abusing the ingredients. Yeah, pretty screwed 'cause we stirred and mixed everything manually, using the whisk and our bare hands as well. There's no electric mixer! Ahhh, at the beginning I took a few pictures of the process but after some while my hands were so dirty I didn't want to touch the camera.
First, you crack the eggs and you take only the yolk. I cracked them, they look so cuuute, somehow.
Sift the flour wth the super small sieve.
Mix the butter with sugar. (We actually mixed it with the flour and when we realized it was wrong, we dug for butter in the flour.)
Add the eggs to the mixture.
Too busy to take the dough so, these are the already moulded coooookies.
Aha, there's a piece of dough at the bottom right.
The cookies were 'swimming in the butter', said Christel.
We started making the muffins. We mixed milk and butter.
And we poured the mixture into the flour.
Mix, you just mix. Aunt Lillian's house is gorgeous.
On the other hand, some cookies got chao-tahed.
This is muffin mixture.
Is this the effect of baking powder or what.
And all the time Tiddles was under the table trying to get some of our cookies, dough, and whatever. She's so greeeedy. But, she was a great help! She licked up all the ingredients we dropped and cleaned the floor, lol. Gaudie helped us wipe the floor. Weihui and I washed the utensils. And Christel was happily reading her book in her room, laaaaaaazy!
Had dinner with Aunt Lillian, Uncle Peng Seng, Christel, Joel, and Weihui. Jeriel was so engrossed with his computer game and then my grandmother got her eyes superglued to the television.
Poor fish, it died so horridly.
After dinner we watched the 'Star Idol' finals. Then Jeriel hushed his father to fetch him to meet his friend. And Uncle Peng Seng was gonna fetch me, Weihui and my grandmother home. Aunt Lillian said everyone should go together, rather than Uncle Peng Seng going to and forth. But my grandmother wanted to finish watching the 'Star Idol' so badly she would't budge. Still, in the end she decided to relent and faster go home to catch the last few minutes of it. We were at the lift and then Jeriel was still in the house. My grandmother was so angry she shouted, 'Chou wang ba dan!'. Oh my, she scolded her precious grandson. Weihui and I were so shocked! Then in the car, I was about to close the car door and then she screamed, like, 'Oiiii!'. I was going to close it helllllllo! So fierce for what!
Before we even reached her house she already unfasten her safety belt and got ready her keys. She ran like mad when she got off the car! Lol, she's so fit.
